Boat 313  

NorthWest River Rescue is a 24 hrs/day EMS Oriented /RESCUE unit dedicated to the communities in the Pittsburgh Pool of the Ohio River.

The 24 ft rescue craft is capable of being manned with one boat pilot and 4 rescue divers upon notification of a river emergency.

Boat 313 is a staffed unit during special events along the Ohio River with routine operations including dedicated on duty personnel manning EMS Units until the rescue unit is requested for an emergency.

Boat 313 is docked on the water during the summer months in Stowe Township, and is available to respond to requests within minutes. 

NorthWest Technical Rescue River Rescue personnel have completed swift water rescue and are furthering our training in advanced water rescue techniques.  

 

 

 

 

Rescue 313 is our Techincal Rescue / Speciality Response Vehicle.  Rescue 313 is prepared for mass casualty as well as specialized technical rescue.
