As a non-for-profit division of NorthWest EMS, our technical rescue personnel is ready to respond 24 hours a day to provide EMS oriented Technical Rescue Services. The team of dedicated and highly trained EMT's and Paramedics have a vast amount of knowledge and experience in all aspects of technical rescue including:
- High and Low-Angle Rope Rescue
- Hazardous Materials Response
- Confined Space Rescue
- Structural Collapse Rescue
- Trench Rescue
- River, Swift Water and Ice Rescue
- SCUBA / Dive Rescue
- Mass Casualty Incidents
- Vehicle Rescue
Currently, our technical rescue fleet is made up of Rescue 313 - a Heavy Duty Technical Rescue Unit equipped with all the necessary equipment to respond within minutes to any of the incidents listed above; and Boat 313. Boat 313 is a 24ft rescue craft capable of being manned with one boat-pilot and four rescue divers upon notification of any river or water emergency. Boat 313 is docked on the water during the summer months in Stowe Township.
